The Minister of Tourism, Widiyanti Putri Wardhana, announced that Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) aims to attract 200,000 visitors during the school holiday season of 2025. This statement was made by the Minister to the media following a review of the readiness of various infrastructures at Taman Mini to welcome the school holiday season of 2025, at the Museum Indonesia, TMII, East Jakarta, on Tuesday (June 25, 2025). "Therefore, we want to ensure that this place is clean, has good facilities, nice dining options, and clean restrooms," stated the Minister. Meanwhile, Acting President Director of TMII, Ratri Paramita, mentioned that in anticipation of the expected surge in visitors, Taman Mini will provide additional transportation services. "With a target of 200,000 (visitors), we are ensuring that there will be an increase in transportation fleet. We are also collaborating with Transjakarta, as well as for the parking areas," Ratri said on Tuesday evening. The Operational Director of TMII, Ari Prasetyo, added that visitors looking to spend their school holiday at TMII can not only use buses or private vehicles but can also take the LRT (Light Rail Transit). "The LRT station is already operational, and passengers can utilize the LRT, which will alleviate parking demands," stated Ari on Tuesday evening. Preparations within the Taman Mini area have also been undertaken, Ari continued, considering that the school holiday is one of the peak seasons of the year. According to the schedule, the school holiday in DKI Jakarta for June-July 2025 is set to commence on June 28 and conclude on July 12, 2025.
