On Sunday, June 22, 2025, thousands of visitors to Saloka Theme Park experienced an extraordinary entertainment surprise. The mass dance performance of Prajuritan and Jaranan astonished the audience, as the dance was beautifully complemented by stunning lighting. Approximately 350 dancers from Sanggar Saloka showcased a performance characterized by unity and synchronization with the lively music played by the gamelan musicians. Initially, adult male dancers took to the stage. Their impressive appearance was met with enthusiastic cheers. Shortly thereafter, hundreds of young dancers filled the Jejogedan stage from various directions. There were three main areas utilized by the dancers to display their talents. The emergence of the young dancers was met with a warm reception from the visitors of Saloka Theme Park.' The young dancers seem to elevate the audience's enthusiasm, as several times shouts and applause can be heard, invigorating the performers to continue moving in sync with the music. Adi Setyawan, a visitor from Salatiga, admitted that he was unaware of the dance performance when he arrived at Saloka Theme Park, located in the Tuntang District of Semarang Regency. "By chance, my child's report card is quite good, so as a reward, I brought them to Saloka to ride in a hot air balloon and enjoy the amusement rides," he stated on Sunday (June 22, 2025). Adi believes that the grand dance performance provides positive value, not only for entertainment but also for the preservation of culture. "In my opinion, this should indeed become a regular agenda, so that children are aware of and interested in various traditional dances, ensuring that this original culture has successors," he stated. General Manager of Saloka Theme Park, Johanes Harwanto, mentioned that this year, Saloka Fest will have the theme of Eco Culture and will be held from June 21 to July 13, 2025. "We will showcase the Prajuritan dance from the Saloka Studio. The members of this studio are children and young people from the surrounding areas who have been selected and will perform regularly," Harwanto said. Visitors can enjoy hot air balloon rides at Saloka Park. He hopes that this year's Saloka Fest will provide a new experience for visitors, leaving a lasting impression. "This year, there is indeed a Saloka Hot Air Balloon that can accommodate four passengers at a time," he stated. The hot air balloon with passengers will ascend to a maximum height of 50 meters. "This is very safe because, in addition to having body protection for the passengers, the hot air balloon is equipped with four hooks, each with a weight capacity of one ton. The balloon will ascend vertically, rather than flying freely," he explained. Visitors will remain in the air for 15 minutes. In a single day, there will only be 15-20 hot air balloon flights.
