Saloka Fest 2025, the annual event celebrating the anniversary of Saloka Theme Park, will feature a variety of activities and attractions. The General Manager of Saloka Theme Park, Johanes Harwanto, stated that this year's Saloka Fest will focus on the theme of Eco Culture and will take place from June 21 to July 13, 2025. "Since this coincides with the school holiday season, we are offering a range of new experiences for visitors to Saloka," he remarked at Rimba Resto Saloka Theme Park in Tuntang District, Semarang Regency, on Wednesday (June 18, 2025). Harwanto stated that the attraction worth experiencing at Saloka Fest 2025 is the Hot Air Balloon, which will commence operations for one month, from Thursday (June 19, 2025) to Thursday (July 17, 2025). "The natural scenery around Saloka is truly beautiful; in addition to Rawa Pening, there is a range of mountains that can be enjoyed from the Saloka Hot Air Balloon, allowing visitors to appreciate the beauty of nature in an unusual way," he expressed. "This year, we are not hosting a music concert; however, we are restoring the dignity of Saloka Fest by preserving local wisdom in accordance with the cultural locality of Java," stated Harwanto. The event, held during the Saloka Fest, includes the Nostalgia Market, which offers a variety of traditional foods along with supporting interiors, as well as performances by traditional dance groups, marching bands, and showcases from the winners of the Soundloka Music Festival. Harwanto stated that the Prajuritan and Jaranan Festival is highly anticipated due to the significant enthusiasm from the art groups. "Last year, there were 23 participating groups; this year, we have 53 registrants, with 49 groups meeting the requirements. After selection, 5 groups from each category will perform at Saloka on June 21, 2025," he explained. "We will also showcase the Prajuritan dance, which will feature 300 dancers from the Saloka Studio. The members of this studio are children and young people from the surrounding area who have been selected and will perform regularly," Harwanto added. Meanwhile, Agustinus Hariyanto, the General Manager of Saloka Theme Park, mentioned that the materials used for the Saloka Hot Air Balloon are the same as those used in Turkey. "Therefore, it is very safe and comfortable for visitors who ride it, and there are also daily flight restrictions," he noted. One gondola accommodates four passengers along with one certified pilot. The total weight carried ranges from 300 to 400 kilograms. Hariyanto stated that the hot air balloon will ascend to a maximum height of 50 meters. In addition to body protection for the passengers, the hot air balloon is equipped with four hooks, each with a weight capacity of one ton. "Passengers will remain in the air for 15 minutes, and there will only be 15-20 hot air balloon flights per day," he revealed. As for the hot air balloon tickets, there are three categories: a bundle with a regular ticket priced at Rp 150,000, purchasing a hot air balloon ticket for Rp 90,000, a membership top-up for Rp 90,000, and a standalone hot air balloon ride costing Rp 150,000 per person, totaling Rp 600,000 for four individuals.
