Deputy Minister Of Home Affairs: Regional Heads' Retreat Aims To Strengthen President's Vision

Wednesday, 25 Jun 2025

Deputy Minister of Home Affairs (Wamendagri) Bima Arya stated that the second wave of regional head retreats held at the Institute of Domestic Government (IPDN) Jatinangor, Sumedang, aims to strengthen understanding of government duties and align President Prabowo Subianto's vision.

"So that regional heads also understand the big idea of ??the President of the Republic of Indonesia to be able to implement and accelerate the Asta Cita program," said Bima in Sumedang, Sunday.

Bima said that regional heads will receive material with three main substances, namely about the main duties of regional heads, providing theories such as the Asta Cita mission, as well as eradicating corruption and national insight delivered by the National Resilience Institute (Lemhannas).

"So the substance of the material is 100 percent the same as the first wave of retreats," said Bima.

Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of synergy and collaboration between regional heads and deputy regional heads in running regional government.

Therefore, he said, this retreat is an important moment to strengthen communication and solidarity between them.

"Because everyone is present with their representatives, it is a bit different from the first wave. We hope that the days here will increase the solidarity of the regional heads and their deputies," he said.

On that occasion, Bima also delivered a message to the young IPDN cadets who were also involved in the activities.

He asked the cadets to welcome the regional heads with enthusiasm and pride during the second wave of retreat activities.

"Young cadets, you proudly welcome the leaders of Indonesia who are spread from Sabang to Papua. When the time comes, you will work not only to serve the leaders in front of you, but also together to be part of serving the people," said Bima.
