130 Working Days, President Reminds Ministers To Focus On Implementing Priorities

President Prabowo Subianto in front of the ranks of ministers and deputy ministers of the Red and White Cabinet and heads of agencies and institutions reminded them to focus on implementing priority government programs. 

In a meeting that lasted for more than 2 hours at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Tuesday, the President asked his assistants not to hesitate to implement ongoing programs, while accepting criticism and input because it can make the government more careful in the future. 

"The President's direction asked us all to work well, ensuring that Indonesia must become a country that can be proud. The program that has been running on the right track, and will soon be followed by a program that always ensures the interests of the nation and state, the interests of the community, especially the lower classes. The President is very concerned about being able to raise the standard of living of the lower classes," said Deputy Minister of Villages, Regional Development and Disadvantaged Regions of the Republic of Indonesia Ahmad Riza Patria when met after the event at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Tuesday. 

He then continued with several priority programs that were in the spotlight, including free nutritious meals (MBG), then the plan to form a village cooperative. 

"MBG will continue to be added and improved. In the future, village cooperatives will be built so that all village needs are met, then the basic needs of the village community can be met. Agricultural products, farmers, fishermen, are also prepared for warehouses, storage in all villages, and can also be marketed, and purchased at good prices," said Reza Patria. 

At the same location on a separate occasion, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Bima Arya Sugiarto mentioned several of President Prabowo's directives including the importance of education for all, and programs that can break the chain of poverty. 

"The President stated that we must break the chain of poverty by sending the underprivileged to the best schools. So, these are the things he emphasized. Do not doubt the priority programs that are running. Criticism is reasonable. Criticism makes us more careful and vigilant," said Bima Arya. 

Bima continued that the President also ordered his ministers to build superior schools for the people, and improve educational infrastructure, as well as schools in remote areas of the country. 

In the meeting interspersed with a breaking of the fast together, the President also assessed that in the first 130 days of his administration, the programs launched were running well. The President also assessed that his ministers were solid. 

"He gave his appreciation and encouraged everyone," said Bima Arya.
