PT BISA Ruang Nuswantara (BIRU), a subsidiary of PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (Delta Dunia Group, IDX: DOID) that focuses on education, vocational training, and circular economy, officially announced a partnership for the Development of Human Resources Skills Training with Hotel Royal Tulip GunungGeulis, GunungGeulis, Bogor, West Java. This partnership further emphasizes BIRU's commitment to expanding its contribution to the growth of the hospitality industry ecosystem, particularly in the hotel sector, while also supporting the government's agenda to enhance the competency of human resources.

This partnership includes training, mentoring, consultation, and competency development to improve the quality of students in the Hotel Vocational High School (SMK) sector. The students will undergo a series of focused and practical training to enhance their skills in front office, housekeeping, and food and beverage services.

Furthermore, BIRU will provide internship opportunities for SMK partner students at Hotel Royal Tulip GunungGeulis, giving them firsthand experience working in a 5-star hotel. Hotel Royal Tulip GunungGeulis will also actively participate in evaluating and validating the education and training modules developed by BIRU.

According to the National Labor Force Survey 2024 by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the highest unemployment rate is among SMK graduates, reaching 8.62 percent. The hospitality sector offers great opportunities for vocational graduates, with a projected demand for hotel workforce reaching 8.6 million by 2024-2025.

The partnership of the Bisa Ruang Vokasi (BRV) platform integrates vocational education with the industry through the concept of 'link and match', supporting the government's sustainable development goals in enhancing human resource competency while reducing the gap between the education curriculum and the skills required in the workforce.

KristiyantoWidiyawan, President Director of BIRU, stated, "Our partnership with Hotel Royal Tulip GunungGeulis adds to our portfolio of collaborations with the industry in developing training programs and enhancing the competencies of vocational school students and graduates.

As a renowned 5-star hotel in Indonesia, Hotel Royal Tulip GunungGeulis is an ideal partner for BIRU to develop training modules that align with the highest hospitality standards, in line with BIRU's expansion plans. We hope that this collaboration can make a real contribution to the progress of the national hospitality sector and meet the industry's need for skilled workforce."

Yogi Iswandi, Human Resources Manager of Hotel Royal Tulip GunungGeulis, welcomes this collaboration, "We appreciate the collaboration with BIRU because the partnership between the industry and education is crucial in facing the challenges in the ever-evolving industrial world.

Through this collaboration, we gain direct access to industry-ready talents that meet the standards of Hotel Royal Tulip GunungGeulis. We believe that this collaboration will open great opportunities for students to develop practical skills and in-depth knowledge about the hospitality industry."

As a tangible manifestation of Delta Dunia Group's commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG), BIRU is expected to support the company's sustainable development agenda, particularly in enhancing the competitiveness of human resources globally through industry-based education and social entrepreneurship empowerment. Previously, BIRU has established similar partnerships with Hotel Indah Palace in Solo, Central Java. Since its introduction in 2018, BRV has successfully supported the workforce needs in the energy and mining industry by training 2,113 vocational school students from 23 schools across Indonesia.
