“Of course, the challenges ahead will be tougher, as we aim to improve even further. A big thank you to the organizers and everyone involved in this event. Wishing success for future IQSA events,” Rocky added.

IQSA 2024 is an award event focused on Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment (QHSE) for the industrial sector in Indonesia. It’s organized by Business Asia Indonesia magazine in collaboration with the QHSE Forum of State-Owned Construction Enterprises.

The goal of IQSA 2024 is to encourage industry players in Indonesia to effectively and sustainably implement QHSE aspects, aiming for operational excellence in their companies and fostering a culture of occupational health and safety (K3) across the country.

During the IQSA 2024 judging moment, Rocky Sasabone emphasized that Husky-CNOOC Madura Limited is deeply committed to optimizing HSSE practices, making it a top priority for the company.

“We have an HSSE Management System that aligns with PTK SKK Migas, PP 50/2012, Headquarter Requirements, PSM, and ISO 45001 and 14001,” Rocky explained.

Rocky explains that the HSSE Management System includes several key components. First up is leadership, values, and strategy. Next, we have organization and capability. Then comes risk management, followed by contractor management and purchasing. After that, there's asset design, project/construction, and integrity. The sixth point is execution and procedures, while the seventh focuses on communication and promotion. Eighth is emergency and crisis management, and ninth is learning from events. Finally, the tenth aspect is results and reviews.

Rocky also mentions that Husky-CNOOC Madura Limited has established Live Saving Rules that all HCML employees must follow. These rules cover areas like energy isolation, safe driving, working at heights, confined spaces, avoiding drugs and alcohol, permit to work, hazard assessment, and lifting operations. Additionally, workers have the right to stop work if they feel it's unsafe (Stop Work Authority).

According to Rocky, Husky-CNOOC Madura Limited's strong commitment to HSSE is evident in its organizational structure, which places HSSE directly under the General Manager.

The implementation of HSSE practices at the company has led to impressive results, with Husky-CNOOC Madura Limited achieving outstanding HSSE performance.
