BSI Maslahat was honored with three awards, namely the Top Leader on CSR Commitment 2024, Golden Trophy, and Top CSR 2024 5-star at the TOP CSR Awards 2024 organized by Top Business Magazine on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at Hotel Raffles Jakarta. The TOP CSR Award 2024 carries the theme "CSR & ESG Innovation Programs for Sustainable Business Growth". This theme is set to promote business sustainability, not only focusing on numbers but also environmental sustainability. This year, BSI Maslahat achieved a 5-star rating in TOP CSR 2024, meaning that the system, policies, and implementation of BSI Maslahat's CSR are at an excellent level, to support the business strategy of BSI Maslahat's working partners in driving sustainable business growth. The management of CSR by BSI Maslahat is considered worthy of being a benchmark or example for other companies. In the TOP CSR Awards 2024, BSI Maslahat showcased its flagship program, the Village program. BSI Village aims to optimize agriculture from upstream to downstream, maximize farmers' income through increased business types via the production of finished goods, and waste management from production. Furthermore, as a CSR program with working partner Bank Syariah Indonesia, this program also aims to increase the utilization of banking products to enhance business scale, transforming unbankable farmers into bankable ones, facilitating broader transactions, and easing partnerships with the Bank. In addition to agriculture, BSI Village also focuses on developing Livestock, Fisheries, and Plantation business clusters. Targeting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals for the Village, Indicator 8, which is a village without poverty and indirectly promoting a village without hunger. Currently, there are 20 villages supported by BSI and BSI Maslahat throughout Indonesia. This time, the BSI Village introduced in the Top CSR Award 2024 is Purwabakti Village, Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency. This village has a beautiful natural landscape consisting of mountains, rivers, and exotic rice fields. With an area of 1,662 hectares, ranging from 520 to 1350 meters above sea level, it is divided into 5 (five) hamlets. BSI Maslahat implements a sustainable agriculture program with the use of organic fertilizers and no pesticides in the upstream aspect. In addition, they also develop group businesses to improve livelihoods by developing post-harvest processing industries in the downstream aspect. They provide supporting facilities such as Rice Milling Units (RMU) since May 2023, managed by a group of farmers who produce ready-to-sell organic rice products, as well as products from the remaining production and direct sales through digital platforms. In his speech, M. Misbahul Munir stated that BSI Maslahat has 3 main program pillars, namely Educate the Community, Partner with the Community, and Empathy for the Community. "Educate the Community with its flagship program, BSI Scholarship. Currently, there are about 5000 students from more than 80 universities who have received BSI Scholarships. Secondly, the Partner with the Community program with the flagship BSI Village program, with its main mission to alleviate poverty and transform the needy into benefactors. And finally, the Empathy for the Community program pillar, which focuses on disasters, health, and social issues. In disaster management, BSI Maslahat strives to be present in disaster-affected areas to assist survivors," he explained.
