BSI Maslahat is celebrating its second anniversary by organizing the Kemaslahatan Expedition to Mount Lawu in Central Java. This event combines a social mission with a mountain climb, where they distributed 100 food aid packages to those in need and allocated Rp25 million for renovations at Miftahul Jannah 1 Mosque. The theme for this expedition is "600 km of spreading goodness."

Before heading out, the Kemaslahatan Expedition team had an official send-off at the BSI Maslahat Headquarters. The event was attended by the Executive Director of BSI Maslahat, Sukoriyanto Saputro, along with his team. During the send-off, Sukoriyanto symbolically placed a hat on a team member to signify their readiness for the journey.

At the Cemoro Kandang entrance, where they provided aid and renovation funds for the mosque, several notable figures were present, including Gianti Citraresmi, Head of BSI Karanganyar, and representatives from the local community and BSI Maslahat management.

The local community around Mount Lawu mainly consists of farmers living in less fortunate conditions, and there’s a mosque in need of repairs. The 100 food packages included essentials like cooking oil, flour, rice, soy sauce, sugar, noodles, tea, condensed milk, sardines, and biscuits. Additionally, BSI Maslahat contributed Rp25 million for the mosque renovations and organized a clean-up at the BSI Mosque in Cipali km 166.

Sukoriyanto Saputro expressed, “The Kemaslahatan Expedition is a tangible demonstration of BSI Maslahat's commitment to spreading goodness by assisting those in need. We hope this initiative brings significant benefits to the community around Mount Lawu.”

One of the beneficiaries, Sugiyem, expressed her gratitude by saying, "Thank you so much for the food aid provided. I hope this assistance brings blessings and rewards from Allah SWT." Another beneficiary, Sutarwo, shared his hopes, saying, "I wish this aid will be beneficial for everyone in the community." During the anniversary event, BSI Maslahat invited everyone to help those in need through the Dhuafa Food Aid Distribution Program by visiting https://bsim.page.link/berbagi-sembako or transferring to account number 7773889998 under BSI Maslahat – Infaq.
