PLN Partners With GoTo To Provide Official Vehicles

PT PLN (Persero) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with PT GoToGojek Tokopedia Tbk to provide official transportation within the PLN Group. This collaboration through GoTo'sGoCorp service is PLN's effort to improve efficiency in the use of official vehicles.

The MoU was signed by PLN's Executive Vice President (EVP) of General Affairs and Property Assets, Arsyadany Ghana Akmalaputri, together with GoTo's Chief Public Policy and Government Relations, Ade Mulya, at PLN's Headquarters in Jakarta on Thursday (30/05).

PLN's Director of Legal and Human Capital Management, Yusuf Didi Setiarto, considers the collaboration with GoTo important to enhance the company's business effectiveness, especially in providing online transportation for official needs within the PLN Group.

"As a state-owned enterprise that aims to become a modern company, we adopt the best practices to achieve good governance with efficiency and effectiveness. GoTo is a pioneer in the online transportation service industry and is a national company," said Didi.

Meanwhile, Arsyadany added that this collaboration with GoTo is part of PLN Group's efforts to transform into a world-class company amidst global challenges and disruptions. This strategic step is expected to facilitate PLN Group employees in their mobility, enabling them to focus more on providing fast, responsive, and satisfying services to the public.

"PLN employees are already accustomed to using Gojek's services for their daily activities to and from the office. Therefore, familiarity is important in choosing GoCorp to complement the existing expense management system and make it more efficient. GoCorp also helps PLN Group monitor and evaluate the operational activities of employees through an integrated digital system, resulting in cost savings by reducing the rental of official vehicles," said Arsyadany.

With the fully automated GoCorp technology system, Ade is optimistic that they will not only be able to provide the vehicles needed by the PLN Group at all times, but also help the company in saving time, costs, and increasing visibility and transparency of PLN Group expenses.

Ade added that, aside from providing benefits to the company, the GoCorp service also offers advantages to employees to avoid manual processes for expense reimbursement, which can be time-consuming and risky in reducing productivity at work. With the Gojek-based application system, the GoCorp service is very easy to adopt by all levels of employees in the PLN Group.
