BCA Scholarship Offers Banking And IT Education With Various Free Facilities

PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) is all about boosting access to quality education for the youth in the country, and one of the ways they do this is by offering educational scholarships. In line with this commitment, BCA is launching the BCA Scholarship program for the 2025 academic year, with registration open from April 1 to September 13, 2024.

The BCA Scholarship features two programs: the Business and Banking Education Program (PPBP) and the Information Technology Education Program (PPTI), available to high school graduates across Indonesia.

Scholarship recipients will spend 2.5 years at the BCA Learning Institute in Sentul, West Java. Those in the PPBP will learn about business operations in the banking sector, while PPTI recipients will focus on how technology is used in banking. Both programs are designed to prepare a competitive workforce and support the growth of the banking industry.

BCA also ensures that the learning experience for scholarship recipients is top-notch by providing various supporting facilities, including textbooks, laptops (for PPTI students), lunch, transportation, dormitory accommodations, and a monthly allowance.

Besides classroom learning, scholarship recipients also get the chance to grow through various extracurricular activities and exciting programs that can boost their soft skills. The BCA Scholarship is a flagship program of Bakti BCA that has been running since 1996. As of 2023, BCA has graduated 265 PPBP recipients and 307 PPTI recipients. BCA Scholarship recipients also have the chance to build a career at BCA. By December 2023, a total of 191 alumni from the BCA Scholarship program have joined as permanent employees at BCA, which is about 99.5%. In addition to the BCA Scholarship, Bakti BCA offers other key programs in the education sector, including the Bakti BCA Scholarship (for undergraduate students), Financial Literacy Education, and the Bakti BCA School. Recently, Bakti BCA held a series of public lectures titled "BCA Shares Knowledge," conducted at five universities across Indonesia. BCA's Board of Directors personally delivered lectures to over 3,300 students. The BCA Shares Knowledge program also included student banking tours to several BCA branch offices, along with makeup training and professional certification for individuals with disabilities.
