As a reminder, the Kejar Mimpi Rising Start-Singing Competition 2024 is a singing contest aimed at discovering talented individuals in ASEAN, while also showcasing CIMB Group's regional network and capabilities in Southeast Asia. The competition is open to participants aged 12 to 40.

The winners will receive a total prize of Rp169 million and will play a role as a model in the music video "Make It Happen", the English version of the song "Chase Your Dreams" with Dee Lestari. The English version is intended to reach more talents on a regional scale. Not only that, the winners will perform with top Indonesian singers to sing the song "Make It Happen" at the Chase Your Dreams Concert for Indonesia, which will be held on August 24, 2024 at De Tjolomadoe, Surakarta.

Previously, the winners have participated in auditions conducted free of charge online (TikTok and Instagram) or offline in each country. Each participant was asked to sing the song 'Chase Your Dreams/Make It Happen' by Dee Lestari, which is a collaboration with CIMB Niaga, as part of an effort to inspire and motivate the wider community to chase their dreams.

The audition process is carried out in 3 stages, judged by a panel of professional singers and musicians such as Andi Rianto and Dee Lestari. The aspects evaluated in this competition include vocal quality, interpretation of the song, stage presence, and English pronunciation.

"Through this Chase Your Dreams Rising Star, we hope to discover even more new talents in the coming years both in Indonesia and other ASEAN countries, in line with the values we uphold to continue to accompany and support the community in pursuing their dreams," said Firdaus.
