The National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) has formulated the Government Work Plan (RKP) for 2026, targeting an economic growth rate of 5.8% to 6.3%.

He acknowledged the downside risks associated with global impacts and domestic factors, suggesting that the growth rate could indeed be limited to 5.8%. In terms of economic drivers, the processing industry is expected to play a pivotal role, followed by agriculture and tourism as significant contributors to economic growth.

Additionally, a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions intensity is anticipated at 37.14%, with an environmental index of 76.67%. Extreme poverty is projected to reach 0%, with overall poverty levels between 6.5% and 7.5%, an open unemployment rate of 4.44% to 4.96%, and a Gini ratio of 0.377 to 0.380. The economic growth targets for western Indonesia are set at 5.6% to 6.0%, while eastern Indonesia aims for 6.5% to 7.3%. Eka further stated that the goal of reducing extreme poverty aligns with their targets, aiming for 0% extreme poverty by 2026, while overall poverty is expected to range from 6.3% to 7.5%.
