"The government ensures that the Pre-Employment Card training program will continue in 2024. The plan is that this program will reach more than one million people who want to get job training. Director of Monitoring and Evaluation of the Pre-Employment Project Management Officer (PMO), Cahyo Prihadi, said that since the program was launched in 2020 until the end of 2023, the government has trained around 17.5 million beneficiaries from 147 million workforce in Indonesia. ""Since its implementation in April 2020, Prakerja has reached more than 17.5 million beneficiaries out of 147 million workforce in Indonesia by the end of 2023."" Cahyo said that throughout 2024, Prakerja is targeted to train 1,148,800 beneficiaries. Therefore, his party has prepared a budget of around Rp 5 trillion, where each beneficiary will receive training costs of Rp 3.5 million per person.
