ASICS Indonesia Supports Runner Robi Syianturi In Breaking The National Half Marathon Record

ASICS Indonesia continues to show its commitment to supporting the development of Indonesian athletes in various sports. This time, ASICS showcased the results of its support in the running world to Robi Syianturi, an ASICS athlete in running competitions in Japan, Paris, and the international marathon in Australia. Robi also broke the national Half Marathon record, ranking 16th with a time of 1 hour, 4 minutes, 48 seconds at the international running event in Gold Coast, Australia.

ASICS Indonesia began supporting Robi in 2022. The runner from Bangka Belitung province has achieved consecutive successes and won medals at various national championships. This year, Robi has set his sights on three international competitions.

In March, Robi secured the 100th position out of 38,000 participants in the annual Tokyo marathon. In April, he was recognized as the fastest runner representing Southeast Asia at the Festival of Running speed race organized by ASICS in Paris.

Finally, in Australia, Robi made history by breaking the national Half Marathon record with a time of 1 hour, 4 minutes, 48 seconds. The previous record was set by the late Eduardus Nabunome in 1997 with a time of 1 hour, 5 minutes, 43 seconds.
