Aeon Mall Deltamas Is Hosting The Aeon Mall Indonesia Badminton Cup 2024

AEON MALL Deltamas is hosting the AEON MALL INDONESIA BADMINTON CUP 2024 for the first time, taking place from July 3-7, 2024. The AEON MALL INDONESIA BADMINTON CUP is a badminton tournament that was successfully held by AEON MALL Indonesia in the previous year, and this year the competition is being held at five AEON MALLs in Indonesia, namely BSD City, Jakarta Garden City, Sentul City, Tanjung Barat, and Deltamas.

Tetsuya Kimura, the President Director of PT AEON MALL INDONESIA, stated, "We are pleased to host the AEON MALL INDONESIA BADMINTON CUP, which is now in its second year. We hope that by organizing a badminton tournament for the U13 category, we can make a positive contribution to the development of children. Similarly, with the mixed doubles category, we hope that participating in the AEON MALL INDONESIA BADMINTON CUP will create beautiful memories for the participants and bring them closer to AEON Mall. This is our tangible contribution, and it will continue to the local community through such activities."

Kimura further explained that the enthusiasm of the participants in the previous edition prompted AEON MALL INDONESIA to hold this tournament again for children aged 10-12. Those who will compete for the championship title come from schools within the AEON Mall Deltamas area.

In addition, due to the high interest in the AEON MALL INDONESIA BADMINTON CUP, AEON MALL INDONESIA is also holding matches in the adult category.

This tournament is also supported by national badminton players and Indonesian celebrities who enjoy this sport, such as Jirayut, Bagas Maulana, Debby Susanto, and many more.

The first series of the AEON MALL INDONESIA BADMINTON CUP 2024 will be held at AEON MALL Jakarta Garden City, AEON MALL Tanjung Barat, and AEON MALL Deltamas from July 3-7, 2024.The matches at AEON MALL Sentul City and AEON MALL BSD City will take place from July 10th to 14th, 2024.

The AEON MALL INDONESIA BADMINTON CUP 2024 will use a knockout system. The final match will be held on Sunday (14/7) at AEON MALL BSD City, where the best participants from each mall will compete for the championship title and a prize of Rp39 million.

To liven up the AEON MALL INDONESIA BADMINTON CUP 2024 at AEON MALL Deltamas, we also organized a 'Fun Match' between Jirayut and Bagas Maulana on July 7, 2024, as well as a Coaching Clinic with Debby Susanto on July 3, 2024."

"Congratulations to the 128 participants who successfully registered and qualified for the competition. Winning and losing are part of any competition. However, let's uphold sportsmanship and togetherness throughout the matches. For those not competing, please come to the competition venue at the East Atrium of AEON MALL Deltamas and join us in fostering camaraderie and unity," Sri Prayogio explained.

In addition to the badminton tournament, AEON MALL Indonesia also held a "Juggling Challenge," a competition for the fastest shuttlecock juggling action along the sidelines of the badminton court.

Apart from the "Juggling Challenge," there is also the "Serve to Hole Challenge," a challenge for participants to put the shuttlecock into a hole. Each participant who wins this challenge has the opportunity to receive shopping vouchers from AEON MALL Deltamas.
