Entrepreneurship Day 2.0: KAI Logistik And ITL Trisakti Support Students In Earning Degrees

PT Kereta Api Logistik (KAI Logistik), a subsidiary of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), is partnering again with the Institute of Transportation and Logistics (ITL) Trisakti to host the Entrepreneurship Day 2.0 program. This event, taking place at the ITL Trisakti Auditorium on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, offers a strategic opportunity for final-year students to enhance their entrepreneurial skills in logistics while also aiding in the completion of their final projects.

Riyanta, the Business Development Director of KAI Logistik, stated, “This collaboration is a pioneering step for KAI Logistik in working with the academic sector to support students in conducting research and completing their final projects by engaging directly as practitioners in the logistics industry. This initiative reflects our commitment to inclusive and sustainable development, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly goal number 4 on Quality Education and number 8 on Decent Work and Economic Growth.”

Around 150 enthusiastic final-year students participated in the activities organized by KAI Logistik and ITL Trisakti. The two institutions collaborated to provide intensive guidance on operating logistics outlets, along with comprehensive evaluations to boost students' business success chances.

Participants were also challenged to create business proposals, focusing on strategic location analysis in Java, marketing plan development, and overall business management. Notably, these business proposals can be submitted as substitutes for final projects or theses, offering dual benefits for students in earning their degrees while also opening doors to join KAI Logistik's logistics outlet partnership program. This innovation is a breakthrough in helping students create job opportunities.

At Entrepreneurship Day 2.0, KAI Logistik featured speakers from ITL Trisakti and three experts who shared in-depth knowledge about the requirements and operational patterns for partnering with KALOG Express. One of the speakers was a successful partner of KALOG Express, providing real insights into achieving success in the logistics business.

"This event aims to be an innovative solution for creating jobs and business opportunities in logistics. We also hope to strengthen the collaboration between KAI Logistik and ITL Trisakti in developing a skilled and competitive young generation," concluded Riyanta.

With the hosting of Entrepreneurship Day 2.0, KAI Logistik and ITL Trisakti reaffirm their commitment to supporting growth and innovation in Indonesia's logistics sector, while also making a tangible contribution to preparing students to become successful entrepreneurs in the future.
