As the Eid al-Adha 1445 H/2024 approaches, IPC Terminal Petikemas/IPC TPK has distributed 27 sacrificial animals to 8 provinces in Indonesia, such as DKI Jakarta, West Java, Lampung, West Sumatra, South Sumatra, Jambi, West Kalimantan, and Eastern Indonesia. A total of 25 cows and 2 goats were handed over as a form of the company's concern for the communities near the port, symbolically presented by management representatives in various locations. "We want to be part of the wisdom of the Eid al-Adha celebration for the needy communities around the port area by distributing sacrificial animals in 26 different locations," said Guna Mulyana, the CEO of IPC TPK. Symbolically, the distribution of sacrificial animals was carried out in all work areas by the Area Managers of IPC TPK as management representatives. In the distribution of sacrificial animals, IPC TPK ensures that the animals are in good health as they have undergone health checks by the Livestock Department. The healthy label on the sacrificial animals indicates that the cows and goats distributed by the company are in good health and suitable for slaughter. Guna Mulyana added that Eid al-Adha is also a moment to support the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMK) through direct purchase of sacrificial animals from farmers. In the distribution of sacrificial animals, we also collaborate with various agencies to strengthen our relationship with port stakeholders. As a container terminal operator operating in several major ports in Indonesia, IPC TPK's presence is expected to always be felt and provide benefits to the community through the TJSL program. "Thank you, IPC TPK, for providing sacrificial animals to the residents of Lorong W Barat who live very close to Tanjung Priok Port. Alhamdulillah, we are very happy. May it be a blessing for the company," said Fahmi Arjanggi, the Manager of Nurul Janah Mosque in Enggano, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta.
