KPU DKI Declares Pramono-Rano Victorious In The 2024 Jakarta Gubernatorial Election

The KPU DKI Jakarta has officially declared the candidate pair number 3, Pramono Anung-Rano Karno, also known as Si Doel, as the winner of the Jakarta gubernatorial election 2024, having received the highest number of votes.

Pram-Doel secured a total of 2,183,239 votes, while the other candidate pair, number 1, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (RIDO), garnered 1,718,160 votes.

In third place, candidate pair number 2, Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana, received 459,230 votes.

"With the invocation of Bismillahirrahmanirrahim, I hereby declare the certification of the recapitulation results of the vote count from each regency/city in the DKI Jakarta gubernatorial and vice gubernatorial election 2024 as valid," stated Wahyu Dinata, the Chairman of the KPU DKI Jakarta, during the plenary meeting for the declaration of the gubernatorial election results on Sunday, December 8.

The vote count results from the provincial recapitulation meeting held at the Sari Pacific Hotel in Central Jakarta indicated that in the Thousand Islands, Pramono-Rano received 7,456 votes, while RIDO obtained 6,578 votes, and Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana received 653 votes.

In West Jakarta, candidate pair number 3 led with 500,738 votes, followed by RIDO with 386,880 votes, and Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana with 109,457 votes.

In South Jakarta, Pramono-Rano again took the lead with 491,017 votes, surpassing RIDO, which received 375,391 votes, and Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana with 90,294 votes.

Pramono-Rano's advantage was also evident in East Jakarta, where they secured 635,170 votes, followed by RIDO with 535,613 votes, and Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana with 136,935 votes.

In North Jakarta, they maintained their lead with 328,486 votes, while RIDO was in second place with 261,463 votes, and Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana received 77,026 votes.

Finally, in Central Jakarta, Pramono-Rano led with 220,372 votes, followed by Ridwan Kamil-Suswono with 152,235 votes, and Dharma Pongrek
