Celebrate IdulAdha 1445 H With The Spirit Of Togetherness By Sharing Sacrificial Animals Through TIKI & JNE

Tuesday, 18 Jun 2024

To celebrate Eid al-Adha 1445 H, TIKI and JNE are once again distributing sacrificial animals to their employees and the surrounding community. The event took place at the Yayasan Taman Yatim Piatu Tuna Netra (YATUNA) and Masjid Jami SoepraptoSoeparno in Jakarta. TIKI and JNE have prepared 44 cows and 48 goats to be sacrificed, and the meat will be distributed to around 4,200 people. The distribution of sacrificial meat has become an annual tradition for both companies to spread happiness, share blessings, and strengthen bonds with others.

The distribution of sacrificial meat was carried out directly by representatives from both managements, YulinaHastuti, the CEO of TIKI, and Mohamad FeriadiSoeprapto, the President Director of JNE, to representatives of widows and visually impaired individuals from YATUNA.

YulinaHastuti, the CEO of TIKI, said, "The spirit of sharing is a value instilled in the celebration of Eid al-Adha. At TIKI, this spirit of sharing has become part of our company culture. Celebrating Eid al-Adha is not just about giving and sharing, but we also interpret this celebration as a deeper meaning where loving and caring for others becomes the foundation for us as a nation and society."

In addition, through this celebration, we hope to strengthen solidarity among employees and increase social awareness in the surrounding community. We also organize various social activities such as the distribution of sacrificial animals and assistance to those in need as a commitment to realizing the values of togetherness and humanity. One of them is TIKI's plan to hold a mass circumcision event for employees' children aged 4-11 years on June 25, 2024."

Mohamad FeriadiSoeprapto, the President Director of JNE, said, "The spirit of connecting happiness, as our tagline suggests, must continue to be realized, and the celebration of Eid al-Adha is a great opportunity to share and help others.

All the sacrificial meat will be distributed to the underprivileged, orphans, and the community around the JNE office and the animal slaughterhouse in Taman Yatuna, in addition to the sacrificial animal slaughter also being carried out at JNE branches throughout Indonesia. The moment of distributing sacrificial animal meat has become an annual tradition of the company to connect happiness according to the tagline "Connecting Happiness".

In line with the company's values of sharing, giving, and caring for others in carrying out the sacrifice worship on this holy day, may it bring benefits to the entire community. The sacrifice of these animals also shows JNE's concern for the progress of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). This benefits both the sacrificial animal sellers and bamboo basket craftsmen, thus helping to boost the national economy.

Sharing culture and high social spirit at TIKI and JNE are inseparable from the role of the late Mr. SoepraptoSoeparno, the founder of TIKI and JNE. Since their establishment, both companies have instilled social values that align with business interests. Orphans, widows, and the visually impaired are the company's top priorities.

This is evident through the Taman Yatim Piatu Tuna Netra and Masjid Jami SoepraptoSoeparno, which care for 50 children with educational levels from kindergarten to high school, as well as support 10 widows and 100 visually impaired individuals who are continuously nurtured with love.
