BRI Life is continuously striving to strengthen its commitment to sustainable and trustworthy business processes for stakeholders and the community by establishing standardized company policies and governance. This commitment has led to BRI Life receiving the ISO 37301:2021 Compliance Management Systems Certification from the British Standards Institution. The certification was accepted by BRI Life's President Commissioner M. SyafriRozi, accompanied by the Compliance and Legal Director of BRI Life, Dewa Gede Agung, and the Compliance Division Head of BRI Life, Chris Hananto in Jakarta (26/6).

Dewa Gede Agung, the Compliance and Legal Director of BRI Life, expressed gratitude to all BRI Life employees for their performance in compliance management, which resulted in the ISO 37301:2021 Compliance Management Certification. Dewa stated, "There are three interconnected elements responsible for implementing compliance management systems: company management, department leaders, and all employees. Through coordinated efforts, we can create a culture of compliance, minimize non-compliance risks, and strengthen the company's reputation."

"In a company, risk culture, compliance, and government audits may seem rigid, but all BRI Life employees can internalize this culture of compliance by starting from themselves, in line with the company's theme of 'Take Care of Yourself, Take Care of Others, and Take Care of the Company,'" he added.

ISO 37301:2021 Compliance Management Systems is a system that standardizes policy and procedure processes implemented by companies to comply with relevant laws, regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.

This system is a structured approach to managing regulatory and legal risks, ensuring that organizations operate within legal boundaries. For BRI Life, ISO 37301:2021 is crucial, as this standard is designed to help BRI Life regulate compliance with laws and regulations, risk management, ethical business practices, international recognition, and sustainable development. According to Dewa, BRI Life has always maintained a commitment to carrying out the company's business processes with practical, tactical, smart, and efficient management approaches, in order to provide various conveniences to customers and the public, where the socialization of its implementation complies with the rules of Bank BRI as the parent company and government recommendations. "We hope that the ISO 37301:2021 Compliance Management Systems Certification we have received will serve as an inspiration for us to continue carrying out efficient and integrity-based corporate governance, as we have been implementing all along," Dewa concluded.
