PT. Citra Van Titipan Kilat (TIKI), a leading delivery service company in Indonesia, recently sent employees and retirees on a pilgrimage to Mecca for Umrah. A total of 15 participants, including employees and retirees who have served for over 20 years at TIKI, took part in this 9-day Umrah program from October 26 to November 3, 2024. This Umrah program is part of TIKI's loyalty initiative, showing appreciation for the dedication, commitment, and exceptional contributions of its employees and retirees. Through this program, TIKI aims to provide a meaningful spiritual experience as a thank you for their service in growing the company and serving the Indonesian community. Yulina Hastuti, the CEO of TIKI, stated that the Umrah program was paused during the pandemic, but it has resumed this year. She expressed joy at seeing the excitement among employees about the return of this program. The TIKI Umrah program reflects the company's commitment to maintaining strong relationships with employees and retirees, recognizing their contributions, and supporting them in experiencing significant moments in their lives. This initiative demonstrates the company's concern for the well-being of its employees and retirees, as well as its commitment to being a business that focuses not only on profits but also on enhancing the quality of life for the entire TIKI family. Sudiro, one of the Umrah participants from TIKI Warung Jati, expressed his gratitude and pride in being selected for the TIKI Umrah 2024. At 53 years old, he has dedicated nearly 27 years to TIKI, starting as a courier and now working in operations, specifically in the manifest department. I am very grateful and proud to be part of the TIKI family. This experience has been amazing—I even shed tears while praying at the tomb of Prophet Ibrahim and kissing the Ka'bah. Thank you to TIKI and all the management for the appreciation shown to us, the employees, said Sudiro with emotion. "I am thankful that TIKI cares deeply about the well-being of its employees. In my 24 years at TIKI, I have felt significant attention from the management and the company owners towards the staff. The family culture within the company is also felt among the employees," said Supriyatno, TIKI Pemuda sprinter coordinator and a member of the TIKI 2024 umrah group. "Thank God, our worship went smoothly, and we were able to perform the tawaf with great focus. While circling the Ka'bah, I felt an incredible peace and a deep spiritual connection with fellow pilgrims. We supported each other in various situations, and this experience strengthened our sense of brotherhood. We pray for TIKI to continue to grow, succeed, and always care for its employees." "Performing umrah has been my dream for a long time, and I am very happy and grateful to go this year with TIKI. This umrah experience is truly memorable—looking at the Ka'bah and remembering the struggles of the prophets brought me peace and joy. There, I also felt the warmth and togetherness of Muslims from around the world," said Sri Joko Utomo, a courier and pick-up at TIKI Station Panjang. "TIKI is not just a workplace for me; it has become my second home. I hope TIKI continues to thrive, remains trustworthy, and leads in domestic and international delivery services. My wish is for TIKI to offer free umrah trips for employees in the coming years and to further enhance employee welfare," he concluded.
