Sharing Blessings Of Eid Al-Adha: FIFGROUP Distributes 3 Cows & 453 Goats To Various Parts Of The Country

The warm morning sun greeted the field of Al-Ikhsan Mosque in Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (June 18, 2024). The spirit of sharing and caring colored this special moment of Eid al-Adha 1445 H this year. PT Federal International Finance (FIFGROUP), a subsidiary of PT Astra International Tbk and part of Astra Financial, once again organized a tradition of kindness through the FIFGROUP Peduli Tebar Kurban Nusantara program.

This year, the joy of Eid al-Adha was even more felt with a total of 456 sacrificial animals distributed by FIFGROUP. Consisting of 3 cows and 453 goats, the distribution of sacrificial animals worth a total of Rp1.825 billion came from the FIFGROUP Sharia Social Fund.

The sacrificial distribution activity is a tangible manifestation of the company's concern for others, which is shared with various parties within the company's immediate surroundings.

This includes the residents around the FIF Tower in Jakarta, 243 branch points throughout Indonesia, as well as several institutions such as the Cilandak Military District Commander (Koramil), Cilandak Police Sector (Polsek), and Lebak Bulus Subdistrict.

The distribution of sacrificial animals is one form of FIFGROUP's commitment to support the FIFGROUP 2030 Sustainability Aspirations. This is done through contributions to implementing social programs that have an impact on people's lives, in line with the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) point 2, which is to End Hunger.

Present at the ceremony for the distribution and slaughter of sacrificial animals in Jakarta were FIFGROUP Director, Esther Sri Harjati, Corporate Communication Department Head, Robertus Benny Dwi Koestanto, and EHSSR & Sustainability Management Department Head, Charles DW Simaremare. On this occasion, Esther said, "FIFGROUP is committed to providing a better life for the community, one of which is through the supporting pillar, namely FIFGROUP Peduli Tebar Kurban Nusantara." This is what we do for the community, not only those around the headquarters, but also at 243 branch points throughout Indonesia.

Esther added, "This is also an expression of gratitude for the company, at its 35th anniversary, FIFGROUP has been given the opportunity and blessings to continue sharing sacrificial animals with the community. Hopefully, what we do will always be blessed and continue to spread goodness."

The delivery of sacrificial animals by FIFGROUP was welcomed with gratitude and joy by the community. The Head of Cilandak Subdistrict, Djaharuddin, said, "FIFGROUP continues to prove its commitment to contribute to the community, especially those living around the headquarters in Cilandak. I am grateful and thankful to FIFGROUP for the delivery of sacrificial animals to the community. It will definitely be very beneficial for the community, amen."

Rizqi, Symbol of Hope and Blessings

In 2022, there was a cow named Hercules weighing 1,050 kg, and in 2023, there was Bima weighing 1,080 kg. This year, we have Rizqi, a Simmental cow with the biggest weight compared to the previous cows, weighing 1,100 kg. Rizqi, from the Livestock Group in Lampung Province, is in excellent condition, strong, sturdy, and healthy, and is warmly welcomed by the community around the FIFGROUP headquarters. The name Rizqi itself means hope, blessings, and care. The giving of this name is expected to reflect the spirit of FIFGROUP in providing benefits and care for the community.
