ASSA Continues To Expand Its Business Lines, From Rental To Logistics

PT Adi Sarana Armada Tbk (ASSA), a company engaged in corporate vehicle rental, logistics, and mobility, is expanding its land in several ASSA Rental branch offices to accommodate the high demand for vehicle rentals.

"The demand for vehicle rentals from corporations and government institutions continues to increase, so the company needs to expand its land in several branches. Corporate vehicle rentals are a significant driver of the company's profits," said ASSA's CEO, ProdjoSunarjanto.

As part of this network expansion, ASSA has relocated its branch office in Bali and officially opened it on May 13, 2024. In addition, the company also plans to relocate and expand the branch office in Solo, as well as expand the branch office in Lampung.

By the end of March 2024, the company has 18 branches and 22 outlets with a fleet of 30,000 vehicles. With a diverse range of customers from corporations, government, logistics, and others, the company provides various types of vehicles according to the needs of passengers, commercial vehicles, trucks, and motorcycles from various well-known brands.

Overall, in 2024, the company will allocate a CAPEX of Rp 1.3-1.5 trillion for the purchase of new vehicles.

ASSA has shown convincing performance in the first quarter of 2024, with the company recording a net profit of Rp 71 billion, growing by 37% YoY. This significant growth in net profit was achieved thanks to ASSA's success in integrating its three main business pillars: 1) Transportation (Vehicle Rental, Autopool, and Drivers); 2) End-to-end Logistics (ASSA Logistics and Express Delivery - Anteraja); and 3) Used Vehicle Ecosystem (Auction - JBA and Online-to-Offline Used Car Dealers - Caroline) under its subsidiary PT AutopediaSukses Lestari Tbk.

With the rapid growth of the culinary industry in Bali and the increasing volume of local product exports, ASSA group has emerged as the answer to the need for cold space facilities through its investment in Coldspace. Strategically located near the borders of Denpasar, Sanur, and Gianyar, Coldspace Bali warehouse has also been integrated with various e-commerce platforms, ensuring ease in real-time operational and inventory management.
